I was just curious if anyone knows why Hondas require a different power steering, brake and transmission fluid than the rest of the automotive world. Seems like every bottle of fluid I look at has "Not recommended for Honda engines" written on it.

| I know that they have their own brand of auto trans fluid. I'm not sure about the rest. If your going to change the fluids, I would guess it would be cheaper in the long run to use the factory stuff. |
