New 2005 EX-L/Navi - good price? - Click HERE for Original Thread
Magical
Thanks to many of you, I am picking up my new Sagebrush 2005 EX-L/Navi tomorrow. Was able to negotioate $32,100 which includes installation of a running board. Of course, there are the proverbial tax, license and fees. Overall, not a bad deal based on other quotes received (even out of area). Took advantage of the month end crunch, what do ya think?? Oh, because we all know by now what the Pilot looks like, there will not be any pictures....;) Thanks!

We purchased a Steel Blue 2005 EX-L NAV for 2000 over invoice which is pretty close to your deal. We had them match the Costco dealer price and they did it without a hassle. Makes me think we maybe paid to much but we got the exact car my wife wanted and didn't have to deal with the dealer games.

I've seen other posts for a lot less but based on getting some internet quotes up here it seems like a reasonable deal. I hope you love your 2005 EXL NAV as much as my wife does. Congratulations.

Do you mind sharing what dealer you purchased from? We are getting ready to purchase our Pilot within the next couple of weeks and are looking in western NV & northern CA.

Thanks in advance!

Dear Friends;

I am so delighted to be a part of this extremely resourceful forum. If not least, I am equally excited but of course impatient to be a short wait-listed customer to procure the next incoming entitled 05 Pilot EXL Steel Blue Metallic equipped with navigation and loaded with several other dealers installed options. The best offer that we have settled for the above vehicle is $31,107.39 prior to dealer installed options. Though it could be purely personal choice, the new Steel Blue Metallic color embraced my attention upon first sight. We were told later that the above color is very limited in availability. Still we thought it is worth waiting and I hope I can be back to this forum soon. As a personal request, I truly appreciate if one of you can post your new Pilot image in the gallery especially since I couldn't find any good photos of Steel Blue Metallic any where on the web. Even the Honda official page photos are not truly reflecting the actual color. Once again, congrats to you all who has already crossed over the "hump" of waiting and enjoying the refined new 05 Pilots.

Of course. Among several quotes that I received from Austin, San Antonio, Dallas and Houston, the best firm quote emerged out from Classic Honda at San Marcos, TX. Here is the hyper-link, http://www.classichondaofsanmarcos.com

Good luck.

The dealer I purchased my Pilot from was Anderson Honda in Palo Alto, CA. Good luck to all of you out there searching for the best deal!

Glad to be of assistance. You will be pleasantly rewarded with much help on this forum. We joined a few weeks prior to picking up our 2003 EX-L and I would say that the information that we were able to get on this site was very important in helping us decide on the Pilot. I only wish that they were discounting at the time that we bought.

I must admit the 2005 or 2006 Pilot is a tempting upgrade for us at this point.

The Steel-Blue is an awesome color. I got my '05 EX-L for $29700. No navi though, I have an IPAQ GPS. Very satisfied, all my friends love it too and many are thinking of one for their next vehicle. I used Costco and had a no haggle price of $30,600, then when I got there the mgr said it was $29,700. Best vehicle I've owned.

Dear "osteome",
It is indeed a relief to have a quality site with helpful people like you on the web. I had a similar very pleasant experience with thundrasolutions.com when we had our 02 Sequoia Limited until very recently to gather second opinion and also to exchange innovative ideas. I shall be excitingly looking forward to have a very fruitful association with this site once I have the vehicle. Bye now.

I just leased a 2005 Pilot w Navi last night. $435 per month- 12k miles 36 months.
I think the dealer pulled a fast one on me. The dealer added $ 595 to the capitated cost. I inquired about this and was told that t this is a "standard bank fee that the banks charge all lessees and people financing a vehicle". Is this true? Should I have argued this point?
Thanks.
Tim
