What a name.
I thought there would be a joke waiting when I clicked over.
The version of that game that I know is Baggo www.baggo.com
I like it because you can personalize the board surface and all of the contents including the two boards snap together into a handy carrying unit. It even comes with a hook so you can hang it on the garage wall.
Great game for drinking some (alot of) beer. You can't hurt anything if you tried. Unless you pulled a Chris Farley and fell on it, which I've seen happen. Enjoy

Baggo or Cornhole - You decide:

Ace - A one point play, a bag on the board
Baggo - A 3 point play, a bag in the hole.
Blocker - An ace or a bag on the board positioned in front of the hole to prevent sliders.
Back Door - A Baggo tossed over a Blocker Bag.
Hanger - An Ace on the lip of the hole ready to drop.
Honors - The team that scored last tosses first or has the "Honors".
Foot Foul - Stepping past the front edge of the board while tossing.
Grounder - A bag on or touching the ground.
Mary Ellen - A toss that falls short of the board.
No Blood - A no score round
Shooter - The person currently tossing.
Slam - 4 Baggo's per player per round.
Slider - A Baggo that slides into the hole.
Swish - A Baggo that goes straight into the hole.
Skunk - An 11-0 game.

Back Door or Slider would be my only worry.:D Plus, how weird is it having member Tuck & Jack explaining that Cornhole is Baggo?:p

I read the article on Yahoo news and just thought it was a funny name for a game so I checked out the link. I still can't really believe it has such a loyal following with leagues and all that... I recently quit bowling, maybe I should take this up, sounds like it would be a lot cheaper than joining another bowling league.

I myself love playing Bocce Ball. It is an old italian game.

When I was a kid, I used to watch the seniors in a small neighborhood of San Francisco called North Beach that would play that all day. Big Italian population at North Beach, and crowds of people would stand around and watch.

I'm sorry. I just can't get past the name. Where I grew up, "cornhole" had NOTING to do with bean bags. :moon:

Oh....I guess it possibly could have been a game to the cornholer instead of the cornholee.

I'm familiar with bocce. One might ask, by "old Italian", do you mean it originated in Italy many years ago, or is it only played by old Italians? I believe it's both! :D

A bocce or horseshoe set is a lot more portable than big plywood ramps. Both bocce and horseshoes are great picnic games. I just can't stand anyone who's really, really good at either of them. They're not supposed to be played all the time, and nobody is supposed to be proficient at them. I know, I know - they have world championships for everything. Get some semblance of a freakin' life, whydonchya.

Yes, I agree. Most don't even know what the game is about. Once I tell people that it means "Kiss the ball" people laugh. I think that's because we all have sick minds...including myself. I think it is a great way to relax and spend quality time with the family....while the woman are cooking pasta w/sauce and meatballs. :D
