| Where are John Kerry and his handlers hiding Theresa Heinz. They must figure she is a drag on the ticket, because you almost never see her with her husband. |

She has not said much (had a few softball interviews).
She has been on camera with GWB a lot! |

| Well, if they buried Jimmy Hoffa under the end zone in Giants Stadium (according to an urban legend), maybe she is somewhere in Heinz Field in Pittsburgh. That might also explain why John Kerry got rattled in Wisconsin and referred to "Lamburt" field in Green Bay. ;) |

| The point of this poll wasn't to make fun of Mrs. Kerry, (she seems OK). But rather, to point out that John Kerry would do or say anything to get elected, like hiding his wife because it is politically expedient. |

Two problems with the pic:
1. Hair is too big.
2. Needs big, fixed, Cheshire cat grin. |

Don't forget that his middle name is Forbes. If he has had a real job I'd venture to say that he had an incredibly easy time getting it. |

Oh yeah I forgot about that one. That must be how he came up with his "Mission Accomplished" act. He was a cheerleader for the troops!
What a waste of my tax dollars! |

I'll give him credit for going to Vietnam, although you can argue that he turned traitor and helped the enemy. But any serviceman that goes overseas into a war zone gets a tip of the hat. |

But it couldn't have been a lot of tax dollars, relatively speaking. I heard recently that the carrier he landed on was positioned off the coast near San Diego. |

Amen. Not many children of the privileged ended up in harm's way, then or now.
One word about the "turning traitor" argument: Having lived through the Vietnam years and followed the war and the politics of the day closely, I well recall that there were MANY servicemen, civilians, and journalists who--based on their experience--felt that Kerry's remarks were essentially on target. Their motivation was not to help the enemy, but to "out" the reality of a mission that, for all the costs of life and limb on all sides, was not accomplishing the stated goals (as best as anyone understood what they were). Some ex-POWS hold Kerry accountable for additional grief heaped upon them by their captors in response to his activities. I cannot say I'd feel differently, if I'd been in their shoes. But I also couldn't have condoned whatever massive effort it would have taken to silence those returning from Vietnam who were deeply troubled by what they'd seen and felt there was a compelling story that needed to be told. |

It was in port until he decided to do put on his little show. It cost a whole lot more than it was worth. |
