| Anyone know if it possible to have a honda moon roof installed in an 04 since the 05s now have one? |

| I'm pretty sure the Stealer won't do it for you, but if you find an aftermarket installer the quality won't be as good... IMHO. |

If your question is could you get a dealer to order all the Honda part numbers for the moonroof, install them, and give you a "Honda" warranty on the work, I'd say it's highly unlikely. From my research on aftermarket roofs, the two prominent makers are ASC or Hollandia (also known as Webasto). Honda part numbered moonroofs are likely built by one of these companies.
And dealers don't do this type of work. They sub it out to a specialty shop that deals in roofs, leather upholstery, wood dash kits, seat heaters, etc. Lastly, if you could find a dealer to order all the Honda part numbered parts, I think you'd find it like NAVI - prohibitively expensive.
And having had an aftermarket roof installed, I disagree with the comment that the quality won't be as good. There was nothing about the roof, workmanship, etc. that would clue anyone that it wasn't "factory." |

The one thing that I would definitley do if I were to have an aftermarket roof installed is look into the possiblity of installed the sunroof rocker switch from the 05 model installed into the 04. Assuming that you have not installed fogs there is a plug where the switch for the 05 sunroof would go. That would make it look very integrated and factory like. |

I'd say it depends on the specific installer. An aftermarket installer that does quality work would do a better job than a careless dealership (not that any Honda dealership would ever do shoddy work;) ). The key is to "interview" the prospective installer and inspect their work before hand.
I had an aftermarket one installed, and I'm happier with it than the factory installed one that was in an Integra I had many years ago. |

Many aftermarket sunroofs (i.e. Hollandia/Webasto) have more features or settings than a simple rocker switch would handle. The control area for mine has 5 buttons. |

| I have an 03 and had a Webasto roof installed over a year ago and love it. It is very large roof and it looks exactly like a OEM and has a lifetime warrentee. The most important thing is the installer and their reputation and past record. Call Webasto or go to their website for recommendations on roofs and dealers. The roof is more rigid than before. |
