| First time Honda experience and do not know the product. Looking for a list of known problems, or 'characteristics' with the Pilot a prospective buyer would want to know about. I looked an this forum and the NHTSA complaint board but the found no specific pattern. I just saw a forum entry commenting about a current MY05 order on hold waiting for a fuel tank recall. Any other common issues like that one? Thanks in advance. ajm |

Please note there is no known "recall" for the gas tank on 2005. This is just speculation that the stop sale may be a precursor to a recall. It could just have been something simple that occurred on these two Pilots. Note that they were both on the same shipment to the same dealer so were likely made in the same timeframe. Our Pilot was evidently not 'targeted' but they still (?) changed the gas tank (?). From what I've heard, Greywall's was targeted and failed some form of inspection/test and they're awaiting a newly manufactured vehicle. (BLEH! I feel your pain Greywall!)
I'm still trying to get specific details on what EXACTLY was done, will report back with what I hear.
PS: Kinda neat Greywall, our Pilots rode to Ohio together..heh. |

| Evidently the gas tank incident I mentioned involved 37 VIN's. No details on what the problem was. From what my salesperson said it involved the gas tank on Greywall's Pilot but not our Pilot (?). Would really like to know exactly what the problem was. |
