hey everyone
i just added another addition to my family of cars
i jus got the 2005 ford mustang GT black on black/red

it now has a place next to my 2004 Honda Pilot EX-LNAV, 2004 GMC Yukon Denali XL, and a 2001 Caddilac Escalade EXT

wonderin if anyone else has bought this awesome car

My father in law works for a large Ford dealer, he says these things come it to the dealer already sold. If someone back out, the sales peaople immediately call thier customers and they usually sell it within a couple of hours. Not unlike the Pilot when it was first released on the market.

So, did you order yours or was it one that became available? Did you pay around list, or much over? Any accessories or mods yet?

Very nice ride by the way...... post some pics.

I got some real good friends who work at a local Ford dealership who hooked me up. I actually paid a real good price, $29k with sum options (shaker 1000 audio sys, side airbags, 5 speed auto trans.). So far nuttin much added, jus got some Lexani rims with Pirellis installed and an Alpine AVIC-N1 on order. Does anybody know where i can buy lowering springs for it or if they r even out yet and if there is a aftermarket grille (preferably chrome) out?

thanks

I think I feel my mid-life crisis coming on.

"Honey, I'm going Christmas shopping for me!!!"

Damn that's a nice ride.

I had a 5.0LX in 1990 when I graduated college. Nearly killed myself racing hills in Western PA. I still ge tthe urge to buy another Mustang, and the new design is simply perfect. Cannot wait for the SVT version to hit the showroom.

i recommend this car to everyone. After seeing my car, 2 of my friends have already placed an order for thier GTs. u think this car looks good in pics but u have no idea until u c it in person. ive done things i never thought was possible by fords. and all of this is coming from a chevy guy:D

For some reason, I thought that you bought the new GT. Then I saw how much you paid for your new car- and noticed that the price was over $100,000 off. (Good deal!)
Nice car. I wonder how long it will take for the mustangs to be rental cars- then those of us who are too cheap to buy one, or don't need one, will be able to drive one!

Thanks,
EDR

they have the new mustangs for rental use here at a local enterprise. but unfortunately, its the V6 model. No GTs (yet, if ever). U will appreciate the car even more once u get behind the wheel of one, ask a few friends or nieghbors if they plannin on gettin one and if they will let u burn sum rubber. :) :)

Update on how you like the Mustang? I am going to look at them today. Saw another tv show that talked about them and the look grew on me. So off to the dealership. Wife's Accord is gone and she gets to drive the Pilot once I get the Mustang.

Thinking it will be close to $30k and then wheels, exhaust and some engine mods. About $35k for a sweet car works for me. I really hate Fords, but am going to give them a chance again. Just hoping they have improved.

hey every1

i just got back from a trip to FL
took both the pilot and the stang
had an awesome time
dad drove the pilot and me and my friend were in the mustang

Oahu_Dave, im not a big ford guy either but this car blew my mind away. did not give my any troubles at all. i would definately recommend buyin it.

not a lot has been done to the mustang yet, but im lookin for a custom suspension and a nice bodykit (not the ricer kind)

i really like the one from erebuni
but i gotta wait:(
need to pay off 2 speeding tickets i got while drivin back (doin 95 in a 75 mph zone)

btw: does anyone here owns the new F150 or knows if its worth it. i really like the way it looks and was wonderin if anyone has any info on it.

well, time to unpack :)
