I've got a pair of U2 Seattle tix for sale for 4/25/05. Sec 127 row 26. Pretty damn good seats if you ask me. Will let them go for face value plus all the crappy TicketMaster charges. Total damage is $344.55. Email me or respond to this post.

You are getting bent over at stubhub.com. They are usually sold by individuals and ticket agencies so they will be asking a premium.

Windy City Mike was the winner. So Mike, how was the concert?! I'm going on Thursday.
Windy City Mike
I went Saturday with my wife and then my wife and Son (his first rock concert) went last night (Tuesday) with Robottik's tickets. We thought the play list was great Saturday, but Bono seemed less energetic than on the Elevation tour. Last night was apparently great. The music was louder, more energetic, and they were filming for the tour DVD. Brought a girl out of the bomb shelter on stage and asker her to sing and she said she could play guitar. Edge gave her his and she played "Party Girl" all the way though backed by U2- If she wasn't a plant, it was probably a great time for her. Bono brought another lady onstage to sing "Mysterious Ways." Last night was also Bono's Birthday. My Son got his first Black Concert t-shirt. Three vertical symbols: a "V", a peace sign and a stylized picture of a bomb. So that's how to dismantle an atomic bomb.

I went to the Thursday show. It was good and at points excellent. But overall the band seemed to lack energy and didn't take much advantage of the oval stage going out into the audience. Also the sound could have been better, but that can probably mostly be chalked up to the poor acoustics in the United Center.

But there were plenty of songs where the band really rocked, so even though it wasn't as good as the last tour, overall it was a good show.

BTW here is the only 'decent' pic I snapped. The rest didn’t come out at all due to the light show.
Windy City Mike
Robotik - So happy we got the Tix from you for Tuesday Night's Show. I do think that Monday and Tuesday's shows had the most energy. I must say that on Tuesday night when I brought my son to his first Rock Concert - we had the only section where people were sitting!! In front , next to us and behind us. I was feeling a little guilty everytime I stood and my son kept looking at me to gauge if he should sit or stand. It was a tough choice - we did stand for most of it but I was amazed at our mellow little location given the great seats and lively show. I prompted our neighbors to get up during Party Girl when I told thenm what had happened the night before. Overall it was a terrific show vs. our Saturday show. AND I am so happy my son;s first show was U2 (an awesome band) and not the lame bands I saw as a child.
Thx again!

It's not the Village People, it's actually U2 during their "Pop" album phase. They boys dressed up as the Villiage People for part of their music video Discotheque. Starting from the left: The Edge as biker, Adam Clayton as sailor, Bono as police officer and Larry Mullen Jr. as a cowboy. Thought it looked kinda neat and a I figured, what the heck!
