I still think that Illinois is the favorite to win with the easy travel (Indianapolis, Chicago and St. Louis) in the tournamnet and the home court advantage of playing in St. Louis. |

but lots of history between the UWM coach and Illinois...he got the progam in trouble by recording some dealings....basically got Jimmy Collins (not the coach of UIC in trouble)...UIC and UWM are both in the Horizon league and both hate each other (and are the best teams in the league)...

So far, so good!!! Can't believe Louisville thumped Ga. Tech. as bad as they did. I thought it was going to be a much closer game that it was. Hopefully, we can take Washington out of the running.
I'm glad KY knocked out Cincy. The Cincy coach just doesn't have what it takes to get past the second round.:cool:
Don't know that much about UWMil, they have got to be the true Cinderella team, this year. I just don't see them getting past the next round.

I'm originally from Louisville, but have lived in Virginia since the mid 70s. We recently bought a small condo in Louisville and I have been spending about a week a month there since last fall. The Hokies are solid in football, but have a ways to go in basketball. |

I'm in Virginia currently... saw several Pilots on my high speed cab adventure from Reagan National to Reston. Little different than Wisconsin... we generally don't average 25+ over the speed limit, but I liked it!

Anyone else watch the NCAA b-ball games that were played last Thursday through Sunday? Man, what a run of excellent games.
And how about those 4 games to get into the Final Four? Three out of 4 of them went into OT.
The Arizona-Illinois game was one of the best college b-ball games I've ever seen. And that was before Illinois came back from 15-points down with 4:00 left. What a tremendous game. Then the MSU-Kentucky game went into double-OT. Wow, great stuff.
Being from Big-Ten country I was hoping Wisconsin would pull off the upset against North Carolina so we'd have 3 teams in the Final Four, but NC was the better team. I'd have to say NC is the team to beat, but MSU is playing good and they're so versatile that they can defend anyone well. |

I don't know who the ESPN analyst is, but to me Billy Packer is the most blatant ACC homer I've ever heard. I'm an ACC fan after my Louisville Cardinals football/basketball teams and my Kentucky Wildcats basketball team. I'm sure Al Mcguire must role over in his grave when he hears some of the stupid things that Packer says. I think Rick Majaris, former Utah coach, has a far better grasp of the game than does Packer. |
