Ya know ... I just had a thought. (and BOY did that hurt!) We have seen people on here talking about the Accords that they owned and/or traded in. MDX owners. Highlanders. Explorers. But, I don't recall a single soul on here mentioning that they bought a Honda Passport.

A teacher begins class one day with a question, “If there are 5 birds sitting on a fence and you shoot one of them, how many will be left?”
Little Johnny raises his hand. “None,” he replies. “They all fly away with the first gun shot”
“The correct answer is 4,” the teacher says. “But I like your thinking.”
Little Johnny then says, “I have a question for YOU.”
“There are three women sitting on a bench having ice cream: One is delicately licking the sides of the triple scoop of ice cream. The second is gobbling down the top and sucking the cone. The third is biting off the top of the ice cream.” He pauses, then asks, “Which one is married?”
The teacher, blushing a great deal, answers, “Well I suppose the one that’s gobbled down the top and sucked the cone”
“The correct answer is the one with the wedding ring on,” Little Johnny says with a smile, “but I like your thinking.” |

quote: After setting his shorts on fire to prove his courage, a Roselle teen ended up at Sherman Hospital in Elgin Saturday suffering from second-degree burns, police said.
The 16-year-old Roselle boy and two friends - a Roselle 16-year-old and an Elgin 15-year-old - smeared their shorts with gasoline around 10 p.m. Saturday and took turns lighting each other in the back yard of an Elgin home, Elgin police said.
Then they would drop down to the ground, roll and attempt to extinguish themselves, Elgin police said.
"They continued to do this for three rounds," said Elgin officer Mike Sullivan. "The shorts were drenched in so much gasoline that they were unable to extinguish it anymore. To the best of our understanding, it was some kind of a challenge.
" The Roselle teen suffered second degree burns from his waist down, Sullivan said. He was treated and released. No charges were filed.
"Each one of them participated by their own free will," Sullivan said. "Being totally stupid is not a crime."

Does this smack of being prolly the WORST vehicle ever made? Notice the Priests giving the "Last Rites" as the vehicles come off the assembly line?(G) From the Moscow Times
TOLYATTI, Central Russia -- General Motors and AvtoVAZ launched the biggest combined project by Russian and global carmakers on Monday, officially beginning production of the Chevrolet-Niva sports utility vehicle.
"We want to see the Tolyatti plant produce high-quality vehicles and become as efficient as any GM facility in the world," GM chairman John Smith said as he unveiled the new production facility at the giant AvtoVAZ plant some 1,000 kilometers southeast of Moscow. Click HERE for MORE |

Speaking of which, you seem to see a lot of strange and short lived cars here in Buffalo for some reason. You can still drive down the road and see Renault Encores and plenty of early K-cars.
But then again, this is a pretty poor town, relatively speaking, which is good and bad. A nice 1200-1400 sq ft home in the suburbs usually runs in the $80Ks. For $200K, you'll get a palace with an inground pool and tennis court :) |

Last month, Chevy-Niva general director John Mylonas said the quality of parts delivered to the plant was a major concern with as much as 20 percent arriving defective.
But a Chevy-Niva employee claimed the situation is actually worse. The employee, who works in quality control and asked not to be identified, said 99 percent of parts do not fit or are damaged and have to be sent back to the supplier.

Of course the wings here are the best, but that goes wthout saying :)
Pizza and wings go hand in hand here, whenever you order one, most often times you get the other as well. A large cheese and pep with 20 wings here rarely goes over $14 with tax, and sometimes that includes a free 2 liter of Coke or something.
Actually pizza is cheap here, a large cheese/pep here goes from $4.99 to $9.99 depending where you go. And they're a lot bigger than Domino's pies. I think there's only one or two Dominoes in Western New York. |

| Now, here's another strange food thing. In Canada, Burger Kings serve poutines. A poutine is a small bowl lined with french fries and served with one large scoop of mashed potatoes on top and covered in gravy. Most value meals there come with poutines instead of regular fries in Canada, according to my friend Rob. Gives a whole new perspective of eating and driving  |
