Is anyone having a peeling issue on the hood of a 2004 Pilot Blue color?
rocky
Is it clear film (clearcoat) or colored pain?

Are you the original owner? Any accidents?

Do you have any pictures of said problem?

Are you still in warranty? If so, and if it hasn't been in accident, then Honda should cover repainting it. Sometimes vehicles are damaged in delivery and repainted before they even hit the dealership.

The peeling problem is goign down to the metal. It is the factory finish. I currently do not have pictures but when i worked in the paint industry, it was called spider web effect. A factory representative looked at it for all 1 min. He determined it was from an outside source but can not provide any proof. I know that when there is a paitn failure, it happens in multiple spots, that is what i have. I can understand if it was one spot that cause from from another source but when i have at least seven on hood and side.

Do you park it outside or is it garaged? How many miles?
Get a good body shop opinion. A lot of times they can tell if the paint was attacked from the outside or if it was poor adhesion and started from the inside. Then call Honda corporate customer service and make a big stink.
