So we are taking the plunge and buying a second car.
My local Honda Delear quoted me 22,500 for an EX 4dr Sedan w/Leather. Basic options, no extras. I checked Edmunds and this is about 250 over invoice.
So, should I go for it? |

You're probably not going to get a "great" deal on a 2006 Accord, since it's the first year for this iteration.
It looks like a really nice car... plus it now has a MT with the EX V6 sedan. |

In addition to interior and exterior styling changes, the Accord also got drive-by-wire throttle control (which the Pilot got in '05). The engine was also tweaked to get a little more power, and V6 models got a suspension change.
Overall, the biggest change is that the Accord EX V6 sedan can now be equipped with a 6-speed MT.
Personally, I like the exterior changes, although I'm still not sure I like the rear. Why is it that Honda can't put a nice looking rear end on their Accords... at least on the last two models?
Honda must have had some leftover wheels from the previous Acura TL model, since they decided to put them on the EX V6 MT. |

I didn't buy Accord back in '04 because of the tail and I bought Mazda6 instead.
Now the tail looks very nice now, there is no reason not to get it. ;)
It's the best value/performance car in the class. |

You actually like the current tail? It's definitely an improvement over the previous one, but the thing that bothers me most about the current one is the transition between the trunk and bumper (which looks very similar to the rear of the Odyssey to me). Otherwise, I like the tail lights and the way they integrate with the bumper. |

| I was skeptical at first too. But the more i looked at it the more i liked it so i bought it!!! Its just so much nicer and more sporty than the previous years. My hat is off to Honda for dressing it up a little bit. :1: |

compare this tail with current one, I have no problem with the new one. ;)
I drove extensively with '04 Accord when I visit my dad in Malaysia, I must say it drives as comfortable as my TSX except it was a bit powerless (I4 @ 160hp) I am sure V6 will have more power than TSX.

The Accord V6 is definitely quicker than the TSX, but it doesn't handle or stop as well (mostly because of its size). |
