My neighbor just traded his '03 Expedition Eddie Bauer for an '06 Expedition Limited. Since he'd had a few problems (under warrenty) on the old one, he figured he'd trade. Plus he wanted the power adjustable passenger's seat.
He was hearing a [clunk] from the front-end when he was shifting into gear. He took it to the stealership. Monday. Today they called to say they found the problem. They have to replace the entire front driveshafts and axle assembly. The truck has less than 2000 miles on it.

A little wear on the UJs and they replace the axle??? incredible
Willing to be even a pilot can wear out UJs with enough miles.
But most certainly more than two thou! |
