Does anyone have any install pics of a double din in the top spot? I had to send my Eclipse unit in for repair and I put the Kenwood DDX7015 in the Pilot until I get it back. It will take about a month total and I could not do without for that long.
I am trying to figure out the best way to make a trim ring for it without a ton of trouble. I think the Metra kit could be modified but, it would destroy it, no big deal though, I would just buy another one for the Eclipse.
Any thoughts. The only part that concerns me is if I use a straight piece and just cut it to fit, the corners of opening are kinda rounded. The trim piece would stick out.
What about getting the trim panel that goes over the navi? I do not have the navi but, could that trim piece just be enlarged to fit the Kenwood? |
