Since moving to the Houston area...my Pilot has developed a Creek! / Squeek noise when the wheels are turning.
I listened closely from the engine bay, then crawled underneath to hear the noise. It sounds like it is coming from the center of the steering rack.
Anyone else hear anything similar?

Does it happen when you are moving, or when you are stopped and turning the wheels? Mine made a noise when I was stopped and turning the wheels in parking lots. If the lot was concrete or fairly new asphault, it would not do it. The bolts on the steering rack were
slightly loose and the unit moved slightly because of that. |

That sounds exactly like the problem.
I'll check it out.

Yes and now steering is squeakless!!
Thanks for the tip.
All others - make sure and check the torque on your steering rack. The lower bolt on mine was a little loose. |
