Now that XM radio is available legally in Canada I would hope Honda Canada would make a kit available to upgrade my 2006 EX-L radio. How do I find out if my radio is already XM ready?
The radio in a Canadian 2006 EX-L with NAV looks just like the USA model except that instead of a AM/FM button and a separate XM button, in Canada they have split the AM and FM and put FM on the button that is labeled XM in a US vehicle.
XM Direct upgrade kits are available for GM, BMW and recently Fords but I am unable to find anything for a Honda. I don't want a separate unit like a Delphi Skyfi. I want the readout to be integrated into my radio. Any suggestions? |
