Hi,
I just installed thule 450 cross bars and they make so much wind noise. I read somewhere that those bars have to be installed correct side forward, but there are no indications on the bars which side is front and I do not see any difference in shape of the bar. Please help. Am I missing anything? |

I wasn't aware they had an orientation, at least on my predecessor model to the 450's.
Yes, they're noisy. I haven't met a crossbar without a wind defector that wasn't.

| What is the size of wind defector should I get? Thule offers medium, large and x-large. The website states that I need to get medium. Are the x-larges for the tanks? |
