OK, so I finally got around to installing the cargo liner in my '06 EX-L today. But, I see it has these two 2" square Velcro pads on it (see circled in red in the picture below). Does anyone know what these are for?
Thanks!

I think they're for some cargo box that has the other velco part on it. It's too keep it from sliding around. :8: |

Unless it's changed from when I had one, the cargo organizer doesn't have a velcro mate to mate up with those squares. It's held in place by stretching belts over to the tie down hooks. |

Well, after stewing on this for a LONG time I finally figured out what they're for :1pat: . But, I just don't know why  .
As all of you know, there are two halfs to velcro, the fuzzy side and the coarse side. The squares on top that I asked about are the fuzzy sides. There are two corresponding 2" squares on the underside of the cargo liner just about 5" below (closer to the tailgate) the first ones.

So, if you undo the velcro holding the bottom of the cargo liner from the storage box lid, you can roll it up and have the coarse squares stick to the fuzzy squares and hold the cargo liner in place like this.
But, why  ? The design of the cargo cover allows you to open and close the storage area with it in place?
Well, I feel a bit better but I'm still wondering about this.
Any other thoughts?
Thanks!
