Pilot Vs. Jeep Commander - Click HERE for Original Thread

I was at a Jeep dealer this past week and saw a new Jeep Commander on the lot. The sticker price was $44,500. This is higher than the Acura MDX.

I checked the specs and the interior volume of the Commander was 112 CF versus the Pilot at 148. The interior seating was pretty close, but the Pilot was a lot better in the 3rd seat.

About the only advantage I could see with the Commander was the off-road ability.

i agree, also no progress with equiped engines. from 3,7 through 4,7 to 5,7. all the same for 5 yrs. and the new styled interieur - chrysler uniformity in all models, i dont like it a lot. the interieur seems plastic, inner dimension arent as in pilot.
and it is really expensive. it costs around 14000 USD more, no?
