The other day my wife called asking me what I had done to her radio in her new Pilot. Nothing. She said the display looked normal, the counter for the CD player was ticking etc, but no sound was coming out. Later, she hit a pothole and it started playing again.
I couldn't replicate the problem, so I shrugged it off figuring maybe she had done something weird. Well, she called today to tell me it happened again. Hit a bump and "the sound stopped coming out." Hit another and it started working again.
So, sounds to me like a loose connection somewhere. I'll be taking it up to the dealer one day this week to see what they say. I bet it's going to be hard to pinpoint though since I can't make it happen on demand.
Anybody else experience this? |

If you are losing ALL the sound, I bet it is the connector on the radio or the radio itself.
Have you had any work done that would have included taking the dash apart? |

| Not that I'm aware of. We bought it two weeks ago, 13 miles on the odometer then so I wouldn't think so. |

| yes, she tried the cd and the radio and both look right, but no sound. I was planning on going to the dealership today but I'm going to have to work late. Hopefully tomorrow. |
