Eclipse Avn5500 - Click HERE for Original Thread

Hello all -
I am getting ready to redo my complete sound system but I wanted to drop by and let you all know how well my Eclipse AVN5500 nav system did over the weekend. My brother and I drive from Louisville, KY to Pinehurst, NC and it was AWESOME!!! It never once messed up even driving thru the mountains. If you are looking into a alternative to the factory nav system, I would suggest the Eclipse AVN5500…

Any questions that I may be able to answer, I would be glad to help out…

the installed look in the pilot would be great, looks like a nice unit though

you are a brave man, as I noticed this when I looked to see if that unit will work in a pilot:

Not ready to add pics as I am getting ready to redo everything. I haven't made a trim ring yet.

None of the double dins will fit according to Crutchfield due to the larger than double din size in the Pilot. As stated above, it will require a custom trim ring to make it look like it belongs there.
