Rear Cargo Cover Noise - Click HERE for Original Thread
foxhallow
I have the rear cargo cover installed in my Pilot - I like the function of it, and the fact that it still allows the 2nd row seats to recline a bit, but I've noticed that it makes an annoying noise when I go over bumps. It sounds like a spring vibrating inside a metal tube. Considering how quiet and solid the rest of the Pilot is, the noise is quite noticable.

It's goes away when I retract the cover - I guess the cover fills the tube and eliminates the hollow area, reducing the echo effect. However, I like to keep it in use to cover the considerable material I need to haul for my job.

Has anyone else noticed this noise, and if so has anyone come up with a fix. I've tried pushing the ends of the tube in and out, but the noise persists.
