| Overhead Installed, Need Some Help

Well, I bought and installed the Alpine PKG-1000. Awesome unit. I wish I would have had my camera to take pics of the install but, I just did not have time to do it. I ended up dropping the entire headliner to install it. I bolted a piece of aluminum sheet metal to the factory mounting holes. Bolted the Alpine bracket to the aluminum and mounted the screen to the bracket. Worked out great. Overall, not too difficult at all. Not nearly as scary as I thought. Took the better part of the day but, a lot was figuring out mounting brackets. My only concern is how the wires will hold up with the amount of heat up there. I ran two wires up to the front sunglass holder lights for the dome light. It was not even very warm here yesterday but, you could not touch the inside metal roof it was so hot. I guess time will tell.
Now, my question is: The Alpine's dome light is a totally different color than the stock Honda lights. Should I change the Alpine lights or all the factory lights. I like the white look of the Alpine lights but, do not know if I can buy them for the Honda lights. Any thoughts? |

change OEM light to white LED or regular white bulb.
Front is dome 31mm and the back was 194 I believe. |
