| I have a 03 EX with stock audio. I want to upgrade the head unit, speakers (including sub) and I want the steering wheel controls to work (both volume and radio channel controls). Any recommendations? I would like to stay under $1000, if possible. |

You can probably do it all if you are installing it yourself. If you are needing to purchase equipment and pay to have it installed, that might be more difficult. Also, things like do you want components or coaxials, sub box sitting in the back or sub in stock location, how much power and what kind of head unit, cd, dvd. A lot of variables that go into it. Just a quick guess:
CD head unit $200-250
4 coaxial speakers $150-200
Single 10" sub in a premade box $150-200
5 channel amp $300-400
Pac Steering wheel control $50
Again this is all just guesses. You could spend less and a lot more. It all depends on how good of equipment you want. If you are needing it installed, I think you would have to plan for at least $200-500 for the install. |
