| Before I get flamed, I did search for this topic. I would like to know if the factory head unit in my Pilot should have the 14-pin socket available since I do not have a cd changer installed. I want to hardwire my MP3 player (non-ipod) to the headunit using either the Blitzsafe, USA spec, or PIE X3. Most of the topics I've searched mostly cover Pilots with no nav, have RES or changers. Does anyone have a picture or diagram of the rear of the headunit with Nav installed? I don't want to take the headunit out just to check. Thanks to all. |

The Blitsafe adapter, part no. HONAUXDMXV1 will work just fine. BTDT, have holes in the T-shirt.:p
This thread starting with the last post on that page, will show you how to install the Blitzsafe in a RES unit, but the install in your NAV unit should be the same, except you just need to pull the head unit from the lower part of the console.
Good luck, and let us know how it turns out. |

The Gallery of Satellite Radio Installs has a few pictures of XM or Sirius units hardwired to the headubit in an '03 or '04 NAV Pilot.
Here's labow's Sirius Starmate, connected with the Blitzsafe. |
