My integrated keyfob isnt working on one of my two keys. Found an internet dealer that can ship a new ?Honda Pilot key with integrated fob but it wont be cut. Can swap guts of the new key into the old key.
Need to know how to program the FOB and immobilizer. Or local dealer is over an hour away and I would hate to spend a day of my time over this issue . |

I think this thread has the info you need. I searched on "remote + programming" to find it.:p
This thread shows the remote programming page from a Service Manual, which should do the trick too. |

If you swap the guts of the old key into the new key, you will probably have the same problem. You're keeping the electronics.
If you buy a new key, a good automotive locksmith will have the equipment to cut and program the key. Don't let the dealers tell you they are the only ones who can, it's simply not true. I work for a lockmith distributor and we sell the equipment to do this programming. I had keys for my '05 Pilot cut and programmed at a locksmith customer of ours, no problem.
You can buy the keys for about $32 from an online dealer like Majestic or Bernardi. |
