| Well, I just wasted 2 hours trying to replace my factory sub with my MTX 5500 sub. I made spacer rings, glued them together, fastened them to the stock location, installed some Dynamat to enclose the area, hooked up the sub, and fired up the system. Have you ever witnessed a car that drives by and when the bass hits it sounds like the whole car is about to rattle apart? That is my Pilot!! What a fricking pain in the a** . I spent the last 30 minutes putting everything back to the original setup because I am not rolling like that. I guess my next step is to get some quotes on some fiberglass work to seal up the area. Just wanted to rant a bit.........:3: |

| Was that a 12" or 10" sub and how much power going to it? With my 10", 220 watts and some Brown Bread sound deadener, I don't have a single rattle. |

| hey, i have a 06 lx pilot, i bought the factory subwoofer and tweeters but i don't know how to install the subwoofer, how do u remove the lid or what do u need to do to get the subwoofer in it's original place?? could you help me please ?? thanks take care |

Do a search on sub replacement. There are many posts regarding this topic. Its not hard to remove the panel, as long as you have the proper instructions............. |

| Sorry to hear about that. I am running an ID 10" with about 400 watts to it right now and I ahve some rattle, but not a lot. Mainly when I listen to rap (yes I like rap and other stuff as well) but when listening to rock, not much at all. Some rattle is to be expected though. |
