Ok, I am thinking I am going to switch the D310 for the new double din W200. I just put one in my F-150 and love it. And I love the looks of a double din better than the flipout. The problem is, what do I do about the center channel? I have the Alpine single din now but, it will not work with a double din unless I maybe put it in the lower area under the a/c controls. Anyone have any outrageous ideas? I am open to just about anything except cutting a hole in the top of the dash. Which would work great but, that is kinda drastic. Get those creative juices going.

I think some people hide tweeters inside the left & right air vents... wonder if you could hide a few small speakers inside the center column vents? :) Nice and stealthy!

How big is the center channel?

kinetik...thanks for the suggestion. i just do not think i would be happy with that small of a speaker.
pto...it can be any size, if i can make it fit somewhere. the alpine is a single din. in my f-150, i have a full 5 1/4" component mid and tweet on top of the dash. |

I wonder if you could fit a speaker under the mirror. I don't know if it would block too much of the road.
