| I saw the chat about changing the insert of the wiper blade, but i want to replace the the holder it's self. I found them on the web for 12.95 no shipping, but I can't figure out how to take it off. |

| I was looking into this too and it seems that your only options are either change just the blades which I have done or go get a whole wiper asembly cuz i believe it doesn't come off. |

I just went outside to finish removing Klasse sealant and remembered this thread. Took a look as there has to be a way to remove the wiper arm which does occasionally need replacing as well as the wiper blade. WHAT! There is no way to remove it! :eek: I look, poked and pulled and there is no mechanism to remove the arm like there is on the front units. And the blade doesn't look so easy either.
What was Honda thinking? Oh, yeah, money. |

There are several posts about this including a redundant one that I started...sorry! The orgional thread has photos, etc.
Bottom line is that you just need the rubber blade insert and then you work the existing blade out and the new one in.
Press on the old blade about 1" from the end of the arm to move the end of the blade up, grab it with some pliers and slowly pull it out.
Put the metal guides in the new blade slowly work it back in until it is fully in place.

| All you have to do to remove the entire blade assembly is pull the blade away from the non-hinged part of the unit. Then just pop off the blade. There isn't anything to push, pull or twist to remove it. It just pops off with a littel muscle. Then just pop the new blade arm on. |

| Depending on what type of refill you use you may not need to even reuse the metal guides. The refills I used did not require the reuse of the metal guides. |
