I tried playing a video burned to a DVD+R in my 2004 EX RES, but received an "ERR" message.
Does anybody know what recordable DVD format(s), if any, can be read by the 2004 EX RES? The owner's manual is unilluminating.

RES DVD OEM unit needs the book type to be DVD-ROM. Many of the burners can do this, (might take a firmwared update i.e the NEC 3520 do it ) or it will read -R just fine |
