This is curious. Both fobs stopped locking and unlocking the car. But - if I'm sitting inside the car, the fobs will lock and unlock the car. I read another thread that suggested the actuator may need replacing when their fob stopped working, do you think this is the case with mine if they work when I'm inside the car?

| Hate to ask the obvious - when were the batteries in the fobs last replaced? It sounds to me like the batteries are low, but have just enough juice to send a signal when you're really close to the control module, but not at any distance. |

A quick way to rule out the actuators is to use the master power lock button a few times and verify that all the doors are being locked and unlocked.
But I agree with Jay, replace the batteries first. |
