| Our Ridgeline has a 4 way lighted background on the joy stick... see attached picture near the bottom left right above where it says the word "open" Our pilot does not... is ours burnt out, or is it just not there, Honda dealer says its not there... thanks! |

| I dont' have an '06 but based on pictures of the NAV screen, it doesn't look like the Ridgeline controls so this maybe one of the few times the dealer is right. The Ridgeline has slits around the control pad to allow backlighting. From what I can see the Pilot does not - can you post a close up pic of the Pilot's control pad? |

My 06 EXL Nav doesn't have backlighting on the Joystick either. and it does not look like it should.
I was looking at the same thing with an older mustang and taurus.... could never understand why the window, door lock, and steering controls were not backlit when they were in other ford models.
