I'm wondering if anyone out there can point me towards any study (Govt, University etc) thatcan give me some data pointing to the safety or otherwise of tire dumps and shredded tires on the environment.
Especially interested in data on groundwater contamination data.
This is to help a town consider its options for recreation fields- one option being considered is artificial turf where the underlayment is shredded tires.
