Yet another Ipod/Sirius question. - Click HERE for Original Thread
Dcislander
Hey all,
I know that similar questions are posted all over this forum, and I have read them all. To help lead me down the right path, I wanted to see if anyone can lend me a hand with some specifics. Just bought a 2006 EXL no DVD no Nav. The Pilot's stock radio with built in XM and CD changer has an Aux button on the face.

1. Somone in this forum commented that there are no open aux inputs in the back of the radio. I have not openend mine up yet, but can anyone confirm that there is no aux input on the back to match the aux button on the face? If there is no input to match the button, it seems like a waste having the button at all.

2. My goal is to pull a line from the aux input into the center console so I can plug in either a Sirius or a Ipod. Any ideas or reccomendations?

3. I have a Sirius plug and play and want to use it in the Pilot. Can I make any use of the factory XM antenna for a plug and play unit or do I need to run that cheapo wire of the mangetized one under the carpet?

Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can offer.

That Aux button on the face is useless unless you have a RES Pilot, it would appear. You can add an aftermarket Blitzsafe or PIE direct connect, with its associated installation requirements and limitations, as well-documented in those threads, and use the CD button to "cycle through" the inputs, should you so choose.
