Rats....logjam got it wrong - Click HERE for Original Thread

Confession-I gave up trying to find the time to install my Blitzsafe hon/m-linkdmxv.1 that I bought from Logjam after checking directly with them on the correct unit given that I have factoru RES and Cd Changer

So I turned to a shop around the corner.

What Logjam didn't tell me was that I had to lose the Cd changer to give the ipod somewhere to plug into.

Not willing to do that

Anyway of salvaging what I have or is there a better solution out there?

Would the PIE X3 work?

Because I have RES and CD changer ie factory stock set up the empty space is consumed by the stock arrangement.

Right now I'm struggling to get Logjam to give me a RMA

The shop I'm working with tells me that one of their manufacturers reps is aware of the need - and they may have something in a couple of months.

So for now I'll just plug it into the aux point.

I wonder if what you need is the "Y-Cable"??

Check this: http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_...HON03_F_MM.html

Seems most of the applications where they show either NAV or RES refers to needing this cable.

Besides, I think you got the wrong Blitzsafe Unit. You need: HON/M-Link1 V.2x

With the PIE X3, I have the control unit in the glove box and the switch under the day. The only thing "in the dash" are the cables.
