| my driver's side door actuator fails yesterday. did anybody here knows how to replace the actuator(DIY). if you can provide a step-by-step procedure. and if you pics that will be great. i have a honda care extended warranty, i know it is covered but i'm not sure if they will chrage me for the deductible? i think the actuator itself is only $30 so if somebody here knows how to replace it, that will be a great help... thank you |

I want to know too.
Last time when it was not working was the time my EGR valve had problem, so I rushed the car in, when it came out it was working agin, the daeler did not say anything, so I did not ask.
But 2 weeks ago, it was not waorking for a day, then somehow, it works again.
If anyone can help  |

A regulator assy is either $65 or $88 depending on the door (Price Link) and your deductible is either $0 or $50. Given the time/cost it will take, I'd have it done under warranty. |

Sorry, my mistake, it's either $0 or $100. But the cheaper regulator is still $81 with shipping. IMO, It's still worth having the dealer do it. |
