| I am planning on putting a single headrest monitor on the second row seats for the third row seat viewing. I have a 7" in-dash monitor on front and a 10.2 flip down on the second row. the reason why i want to put on the 3rd row is when my daughter seats there she is a having a hard time looking on the flip down when the people seating on the second row are blocking the view with their heads. does the performance teknique headrest monitors good? do they fit on the holes (pole gap of the headrest)? did anybody did this already? thank you. |

I have been thinking of doing this too for the same reason. The one hitch is that the posts are narrower than the ones in the front so you will have to mod the posts on the headrest monitors to fit them. I have an extra set that I am thinking trying to modify to do just that. I can't do it since I will be away again this weekend, but was planning to do it the weekend following.
If you're not in a huge hurry, I can post the results if I am successful.
If you are looking to do it right away, maybe you can post your results/step-by-step so I/we can follow your success. :) |

| josey92 you are right the post are wider the the OEM headrest. i got the headrest monitor yesterday and it is wider. i don't have any idea right now on how to modify those post at the same time does anybody here know how to take off the panel on the back of the second row seats. I also have a problem with my second row seat it does not want to recline forward. I can't make the whole back of the truck flat. does anybody here had this problem before. How did you fix it? thank you |

I've not heard anyone post about this goal or solution.
To me the only approach would be to return the headrest monitor you have got, and have someone take apart a second row headrest to install a 7 inch or whatever sized screen that will fit. |
