line out for converter ? use only 2 wires going 2 sub or use lt & rt rear wires - Click HERE for Original Thread

Hi, I have an o6 pilot ex with cd changer in the dash & 7 speaker system with sub. I am trying to add a 600W 4 channel amp 2 ohm stable and a sealed box with 2 fosgate punch 12's 8 ohm (had laying around).

Since the HU has no preamps for rca cables I have purchased a line out converter (actually bought 2 trying to get this working, one has 2 rca output's and fully adjustable & the other is real smple w 1 rca out no adjustments).

My question is that since the HU is already providing the signal to the sub, should I just splice into those two wires, or should I splice into the rear left and rear right speaker wires like the instructions say to.

Also, Plan to run speakers parallel, and can run amp at 2 channel, low pass, but do I run speakers to left or right terminales on amp?

I also have remote wire going to cigarette lighter in rear cargo area, amp is all lit up but Nothing is coming out of the speakers.

Brand new to forums & only resorting to asking for help after spending several - several hours banging my head into the ground on this, please help.

Thanks,
Jason
