| Cool, looks great! Are you using an FM transmitter or a direct connection? |

i'm using (and recommend using) the direct connect.
i had it running just on the the wireless fm transmitter and it sucked big time.
the in-line relay cleared it right up immediately. |

| What is the Direct Connect method. Did you have buy any special adapters ? |

direct connection is a physical wire that connects the sirius HU to your pilot's antenna.
the HU comes with a built-in wireless FM transmitter that sends a signal to an vacant FM frequency, so that you can hear it through your speakers. however, oftentimes the transmitter is too weak or there are other frequencies causing static.
hence, a direct connect by-passes the wireless method and connects directly with the car's antenna.

you can also use the cassette adapter, but i didn't want the mess of having a wire dangling from the console. |

| If you want even better sound, get an adapter that connects to the cd changer port of your headunit. FM modulators (even hardwired) are just not as good. I had the hardwired FM, then switched to the P.I.E. X3 and it was like night and day. It's almost CD quality from my Sirius Starmate Replay. |
