Why do some 2006 Pilots have two exhaust tips when so have only one?
My manager and I just purchased new 2006 Pilots. My Pilot has two exhaust tips and his only has one. |

| 2wd vs 4wd. I believe that's it. |

| Then you must have a 4WD, and he must have a 2WD. ;) |

I did a search on Exhaust tips and came up with several pages of hits. Guess I did not click on the right one.
Why would Honda change a part after years of two tips for pre 2006?
I have not checked but is the exhaust pipes under the frame different too for 4wd vs 2wd?
Guess our 4wd's are cooler and cost more to replace our muffers. |

I saw the thread a while back, and knew to do an advanced search on the title only to find it. I know for the new-comer the search function can return way too many hits to sift through.:p Even I lose threads that I know are here, and can't easily find them with a search. Still, it's a good place to start, as you did. |

rzjn93,
If your manager really prefers dual exhaust tips, he can always install one of these tip extensions on his single exhaust pipe :D
