Maybe your own gaydar tells you that more same-sexers love the Mazda Miata, the Jeep Wrangler or Subaru’s Forester. But now, our colleagues over at Gaywheels.com say they have the definitive list of wheels that appeal to gay shoppers. Scanning their site for the ten most researched vehicles, Gaywheels says the top vehicles include the following:
1 Saturn Sky
2 Toyota Yaris
3 Dodge Caliber
4 Volkswagen Jetta
5 Toyota Camry
6 Audi A3
7 Toyota Prius
8 Saab 9-3 (sedan and convertible)
9 Pontiac G6 (sedan, coupe and convertible)
10 Mazda MX-5
No suprise really. Well maybe the Pontiac G6, the majority are small two seaters. And it seems to be popular to want to ride with your top-down. |

Kind of makes you wonder where auto makers point their target demographic.
There are a few things that I've personally noticed about vehicles:
1. If you see someone driving a Dodge Spirit/Plymouth Acclaim, somebody in the family gave it to them. I don't think anyone actually buys them used, or ever did.
2. Very few thin people drive Ford Windstars
3. 90% of Jetta drivers think they're running the Targa Florio on the interstate.
4. The most popular bad credit/no credit vehicles on lots seem to be Caravans and Pontiac Sunfires
5. Say what you want about them, there will always be a market segment for Buick. |
