We just bought an 06 with navigation and I went to move the passenger seat back int he front and there is a player with a DVD symbol on it. Is this normal? We don't have a rear entertainment system. Just Navigation and a CD changer.

Is it hooked up and can you use it? Does it look like an in-car system or a home setup? Pics?

gocanes719,
That unit under the front pax seat is your Navigation DVD unit (see pic below). This is where you load future Nav DVD updates from Honda. The instructions on how to operate are in your Navigation System Owner's Manual.

Yup...

that's the Nav "brain" if you will. The nav works on DVD's (maps, POI). There is a dvd in there now... and it can be replaced with newer up to date dvds in the future.

Doesn't do video

Canadian Pilot with Navi gets 2 DVD. It's for swapping the DVD as well as newer version later.
