| I've heard rumor that Saturn buys the 3.5L Honda motor thats in our pilots to put in their Saturn VUE. Anyone know if there is any truth to this? |

I haven't opened the hood to look, but have heard the same thing.
Anyone remember the Sterling? (British car with Acura Legend motor.) |

| I think that was SUPPOSED to happen, but GM didn't want to pay for top dollar for the Honda engines and decided to buy engines made in China. I think it was for the Equinox though and not the Vue. |

Not a rumor, you've been able to buy the Vue V6 with the Honda 3.5L motor for a couple years now.

.....
Saturn Vue Redline
Saturn's introducing another Red Line product into its mix, as well, the $33,210 Vue Red Line. Cosmetically, it shares many of the Ion's styling features, including a very aggressive front air dam, large (18-inch) alloy wheels, a big chrome exhaust tip and monochromatic paint, this time in your choice of silver, black, or lime green.
Mechanically, there's not quite as much to differentiate it from a V6 AWD Vue, with which it shares the Honda-designed 3.5-litre, 250 horsepower V6 and five-speed automatic. But though the Red Line is no faster in a straight line than its less-aggressive cousin (it hardly needs to be as it will happily chirp and torque-steer its way past any other compact SUV), it's a different story in the corners.... |

Yeah old news.
I think the red line vue came with the honda 3.5 since the beginning of it's life.
Hopefully when the body rots out they will be able to transfer that heart to a new vehicle ha ha.
Just had to say that .. my brother owned a saturn, one of the worst cars ever. ran decent but the interior quality and outside quality was so sorry.
The seats cut off your legs circulation as well while your drove, Thanks GM! |

Note-
It's just not the Red Line Vue that gets the Honda 3.5L engine. Any Vue V-6 uses the Honda 3.5L engine. That tranny in an Italian auto, not from Honda, however. |
