Coach Bill Cowher said Roethlisberger will be evaluated each week, and he is not certain how long the quarterback will be out.
Charlie Batch, the former Lions starter who was 2-0 as a fill-in last season when Roethlisberger hurt his knee, will start against the Dolphins in the NFL's first game of the season. |

Even with my Chargers defense hooking me up with 21 points I still lost by 2. Hasselbeck underperformed. I should have played Pennington. Oh well, I'm the first place loser.

overall, my team wound up performing much better than the results of the game - but whats killing me is that Culpepper continues to underperform - along with the once feared and vaunted Carolina defense. Its a struggle each week trying to decide whether to start Culpepper or Drew Brees. |

you're right...a win is a win. but I'd rather see them up against a good team instead of a 1-win team to really see how good they are. this was the first time I saw them all season, so even though they won big against most teams, I don't know how they played until last night.
a quick check of their schedule...they have 2 relatively easy games (sf & miami) coming up before they hit the road against the giants, jets, and the patriots. if they win the last 3, I will be very impressed. :) |

I know what you're talking about...in another league I've scored the second most points but I seem to face someone every week that scores their most points for the season, and therefore I'm in last place. :(
right now I'm in seventh place in this league. I guess I need to move up 3 spots to make the playoffs. if only shaun alexander will come back healthy, I can get some more points each week! |
