Transmission dipstick and fluid volume - Click HERE for Original Thread

Anyone know how much transmission fluid you need to add if the level is at the bottom mark? This is for an '03 (not sure if that matters). Just seeing if anyone else has determined this before I go and do the trial and error thing...

Thanks,

You will need half a quart more or less.
The right level should be in between the upper and lower marks.
I'd fill it up slowly and recheck the dipstick till it gets to the right level.

Here's a link for more info.

My 04 came that way from the factory, it took a quarter of a quart to move the level to the full line.

I just changed my tranny fluid today.
I did not fill it up to the full line.
The manual states that the right level should be IN BETWEEN the bottom line and the full line.
And it takes almost a quart from the bottom line to fill it up to the right level.
I have an 04' Pilot myself.

I don't think there is any need to make sure it's at halfway or anything. Any level between the two lines is acceptable and it probably makes no difference exactly where it lies between.
