| I'm going to be detailing my Pilot this weekend, but I was wondering about the chrome trim. The trim isn't really chrome, it's plastic that looks like chrome. When I polish and wax the car, should I put tape around the chrome trim and avoid it, or can I polish and wax it like the regular body paint? |

| I just wax mine, but if your using a polish you will want to steer clear of the plastic parts. I think the wax helps protect it from the smog out here in LA but I think it helps against the elements in any part of the country. |
