I've seen their stuff for a few years now. It's very nice but overpriced IMO especially if you only need digital media in a few rooms. You can dedicate separate HTPCs for each room and have a file server or disk array act as storage for much less. I have a similar setup using Roku's HD1000 and a file server with close to 1 TB of capacity. The Roku unit will stream stored DVD content at 720p and will read your music files (MP3 and AIFF) all through a nice GUI. Since I used an old PC as my server, the whole setup cost less than $500. |
