hello all. My 2006 pilot goes in for 15k service on Wednesday. The dealer quoted 165.00. I have had the oil changed at 5 and 10k already. I ahve been told by the dealer that the Pilot is on a 5k cycle for oil changes and maintenance activities.
When I asked about the cost, the dealer said that it needs a fluid change at 15k. I think he said the differential fluid (VTM4).
My wife called me a few minutes ago and said that a wrench light came on and the number 1 and oil life 15 percent.
When I looked up maintenance minder 1, all it says is tire rotation.
I dont know if she is giving me the correct information on the display, but assuming she is, what is the justification for changing the fluid at 15k?. I have never heard of changing it that early. I also assume that the wrench light is just because of the maitenance indicator?
Any advice appriciated. Thanks in advance |

| Prior to the Maintenance Minder in the '06, the recommended schedule for the 1st VTM-4 change for the '03-05 Pilot was 7500 miles for severe service, or 15000 miles for normal service. |

Thanks. And the wrench light is on because of the reminder?
