Just purchased an 07 Nimbus Grey Metallic 2WD EX-L NAVI for invoice: $31,338.86 +TTL. Our local dealer matched an offer I received online.
Picking it up tomorrow after work. My salesman told me it already has the rear mudflaps installed, and that they aren't charging me for them.
I am quite pleased with the deal on a nice vehicle. We also test drove other SUV's, including the Chevy Trailblazer. I drove one with an MSRP of over $31,000, and it drove like garbage, and had few options. Of course with all of the discounts, I probably could have got it for $22,000ish. It drove like a $22K vehicle, not a $31K vehicle. GM really needs to reconsider how they price things, it was a huge turn off for me.
The GM dealer also offered me $12K trade in on our 04 Accord EX, which I just sold myself for $16.5K. Hmmm....
First post on this board, I'm sure more will follow. I'm thinking about making a 2 button variable-timed one-touch latching circuit to move the power seat back and forth for my wife and I. It'd be way easier then trying to retrofit memory seats. |

Congrats and welcome. You can't really directly compare the ride of a Pilot with a Trailblazer. The Pilot is a crossover and the Trailblazer is a truck based SUV good for towing/etc. Just like a Toyota 4runner will ride rough compared to a Pilot. However, the Trailblazer has a horrible reliability record so you made the right choice. However, a Chevy SUV comparatively priced to the Pilot would have been a decently loaded Tahoe after rebates. |

Welcome aboard. You are the first 07 owner post I have seen. Don't forget to check out Wong's accessories (Wilson Wong) and of course our sponsor www.hondacuraworld.com. POC is Tim.

Welcome aboard! Definitely post pictures of that Nimbus grey.......Honda's on-line colors are usually awful, so it'd be nice to see what it really looks like.
Check out wwong's stuff.......got 'em for the Ody, and should have got 'em for the Pilot. |

The 2007 Pilots are here already? I was at the dealer today and did not see any 2007 Pilots. Make sure to post pics inside and out.
Congrats. |

With a Trailblazer yes, with GMs current large SUV/truck platform likely not. |

Actually we have a very good friend that owns a Chevy store and he tells me that warrenty work is no longer a profit center however general service is. |

Can't tell whether that is a positive statement or a negative one. |

| does the nimbus gray not look a whole lot like the sage brush? i guess the picture may not be the best way to tell...anyways, i'm going to the dealership in a week...perhaps they'll have a nimbus gray for me to look at. |

Here's a pic of our new Pilot:
The color is similar to Sage Brush, minus the greenish tint. My Anthrcite Acura CL-S is in the background for comparison.
Interior:
Fog Mod: (they now turn on as long as the engine is running)
The only small complaints are a small ding in the the top of the front passenger door, and after it's first wash and dry, there are spots in the clearcoat all over the hood that did not come out with my Porter Cable random orbital buffer and power clay, polishing compound, and swirl remover. Going back to dealer on Tuesday, they even offered a loaner.
I'm going to start a new thread for today's mods.... |

| Tell me more about that fog mod. I think I might be interested in doing that if not too difficult. |
