Just thought I'd say "Hi".
We picked up our 2006 EX-L w/ RES Slate Grey Pearl last Thursday. It was a demo that the owner's wife drove for 3 months - it had 5700km on it. She had added a few options like towing package incl the ball, winter package (floor mats, cargo liner & rear splash guards), chrome step bars, wheel locks & Intracep vehicle ID system. So we got all that for "free" as well as the end of year discounts and low financing rate.
We traded in our 2001 Odyssey EX with aftermarket RES with TV tuner.
So far we are very happy with the Pilot. In some ways (I am happy to say) it drives even better than the van. We do sacrifice some space, but the 3 kids are happy it since it still has the RES. Bonus: even the Audiovox wireless headset from the Ody works in the Pilot - but only in the 2nd row for some reason. (there's too much static in the 3rd row) Anyway it saved us buying a 3rd from Honda.
Just looking into an all-weather solution for the 3rd row. Worse case I'll cut down one of the mats I had in the van.
Maybe later we'll get a bike rack for the hitch. |

| Actually, since Slate Grey Pearl isn't available in the U.S., most of us haven't seen that color. So, yeah, you owe us some pics. :D |

catchall makes mats for all of the rows, I purchased the charcoal ones for my grey ex-l. purchased here at www.autoaccessories.com
ALso I picked up a softride pull pin bike rack at www.hitchsource.com
both are great additions.

OK, OK, here are a couple of pics! You're lucky - I was trying to get a photo of the first Porter Airways Q400 flying overhead, but I thought of you all and I took some pics of the Pilot instead. (actually to be totally honest, I missed my chance with the Q400 since it didn't fly by for a 3rd time, it must have gone to the CNE airshow instead)

Thanks for your suggestions. I cut down one of the mats from the Ody. It's OK for now.
Bike rack is probably next year's investigation. |
